Randy Joseph Lilly Randy Joseph Lilly, 61, left the cares of this life and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. He was born June 16, 1950 in Beckley, WV to Ned and Iris Lilly, both now deceased. He will be remembered and treasured by his wife of 38 years, Nancy Lilly, and their son, Andrew, both of Forest, VA.

He is survived by his brother Marcus Lilly (Glenda) of Forest, VA, his sister Bonnie Lilly (David Wheeler) of Ellicott City, MD, 7 nephews and one niece. Randy was a tender-hearted, compassionate soul who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was a devoted father who loved his son deeply and self-sacrificially. For many years, Randy read and studied God's word and tried to live a life of obedience. He loved the outdoors, the beauty of God's creation, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and the company of good friends. He was a dedicated friend to the intellectually challenged individuals who he cared for in his home for several years. It was a blessing and privilege to know him, to love him, and to be loved by him.

The family will receive friends at Nancy Lilly's home, 92 Clay's Crossing Drive, Forest, and there will be a celebration of Randy's life in the chapel at Heritage Baptist Church, 219 Breezewood Drive, Lynchburg, on Saturday, February 4 at 3:00 p.m. Friends of the family will host a reception afterwards at the church. "When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!"
