Roger Phelps

Roger Phelps, age 62, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. He is survived by his former wife, Mary Dawn Phelps of Duluth, MN; his daughters, Dawn Dobler (Tim) of Culpepper, VA., Alyce Park (Andrew) of Anchorage, AK. and Amanda Falcon (Darren) of San Diego, CA; his son, Matthew Phelps (Susie) of Fredericksburg, VA. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Dayton, Nicholas, Ethan, Matthew, Charles, Caleb, Cohen, Colton, Kayleigh, Hunter, Benjamin, and Logan; and extended family children. Roger also leaves behind his sisters, Audrey Edwards (Raymond) of St, John, ND., Deanna Lenior (William) of St. John, ND. and Celeste Phelps of Bismark, ND.; his brothers, Rodney Phelps (Debbie) and Duane Phelps, both of St. John, ND.; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Neices, Nephews and extended family that he cared deeply for. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Andrew Phelps; his parents, Gerald and Oviala Pederson Phelps; his brothers, Earl Phelps and Gerald Phelps Jr.; his paternal grand parents, Samuel and Alice Phelps and maternal Grandparents, Peder and Louise Pederson. Roger loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horse back riding, mowing his lawn, working on vehicles with his son Mark and cousin Troy. He also loved westerns, watching t.v, cutting wood, visiting friends and family, and going on hunting trips with his best friends Gustafsons. A memorial service will be held at 5:30pm on June 11, 2021 at the Presbyterian Church in St. John, North Dakota.
