Roy Allen Pagans, 73, of Spotsylvania, VA, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2024. He was born on September 23, 1950, in Roanoke, Virginia. Roy served in the Air Force from 1969 to 1971 as a Jet Engine Mechanic during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he pursued a career as a Diesel Bus Mechanic at Roanoke City Line before transitioning to work at various bus companies, including Goldline Buslines in Tuxedo, MD, National Coastline Buslines in Fredericksburg, VA, and eventually retiring from the City of Fredericksburg Garage in 2009. Outside of his professional life, Roy was passionate about riding and working on his Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a skilled mechanic and enjoyed the trade in his spare time. He was most cheerful in nature and loved spending time with family and friends and embraced life to the fullest. Roy was preceded in death by his biological parents, George Henry Pagans and Edith Pagans Woznick, as well as his adoptive parents, Richard (Ricky) Hall and Louise Pagans Hall. Additionally, Roy was preceded in death by siblings: George Larry Pagans and Laura Woznick McMillen. Roy is survived by his siblings: George Curtis Pagans (Kathy) of Fredericksburg, VA, Joyce Fisher (David) of Vinton, VA, Geneva Deason of Charlotte, NC, Mike Hall (Gladys) of Hardy, VA, Sue Hall (Park) of Richmond, VA, Richard Woznick (Tonya) of Braselton, GA, Rhonda Steffen (Scott) of Fort Wayne, IN and Penny Sharrin (Tim) of Fort Wayne, IN. Additionally, he is survived by 8 nieces and 5 nephews. A service to honor Roy's life will be held at 11:00am on May 20, 2024, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, located at 621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved. The family would like to thank Roy’s loyal friend and neighbor, Patsy Molina, who loved him and assisted in his care the past few years. Additionally, the family wishes to thank Roy’s niece, Tori McMillen Guzman, RN for loving and caring for him in his last days. A visitation for Roy will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401.
