Ruth Cely Price

Ruth Cely Price, age 93, originally from Anderson County, South Carolina, died on March 9, 2017, from complications of cancer in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she had resided for several years with her younger daughter. Ruth Price’s husband, Col. Teller S. Price, died in 2001. The fourth of five children, she also was predeceased by her siblings, Louise Yongue, W. Hamilton Cely, S. Frank Cely, and Agnes Gural. Before 2011, she resided in Vienna, Virginia, for many years, after accompanying her husband on military tours in several states, in Germany, and on Okinawa. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Goble, and son-in-law, Paul Goble; her daughter, Teresa Cerritelli, and son-in-law, L.J. Cerritelli; and grandchildren, Nicholas Goble, Celia Goble, Alexander Goble, and Jonathan Cerritelli. She also is survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Cely, and several nieces and nephews. She will be interred in Arlington National Cemetery with her husband following a graveside service with immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Young in spirit and visage, she was loved by all whose lives she touched.
