

She was born on January 30, 1950 in Alexandria, VA, the daughter of the late David and Hilda (Buckley) Walker. A retiree from Bank of America of 40 + years and a graduate of Madison College for musical education, she was a profound supporter of the arts and always held music close to her heart.
She was a devout member of the Coles Point United Methodist Church in Hague, VA. She was a very active member in her Westmoreland County community, both as a friend and associate member of the Traveler’s Rest Community. She is remembered as a loving grandmother, caring friend, and devoted wife.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Don F. Baker; one daughter, Kara D. Stafford (Jimmie) of Spotsylvania, VA; one son, Keith D. Baker (Emily) of Manassas, VA; one sister, Marilyn Kidwell (Garnic) of Chesterfield, VA; one brother, James Walker (Ruth) of Sumerduck, VA; four grandchildren, Brittney Baker Shields, Brandon Baker, April Stafford, Anna Cidoni (Vincent); and one great grandchild, Paisley Shields.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 6th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, VA, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at 10:00 am with Pastor Mark Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at the Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
