He was born on November 12, 1948, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Bernard and Pearl Jung.
Throughout his life, Ted was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and his ability to connect with everyone around him. He owned and operated an art supply store, The Shop of Art, on the Arizona State University campus for over 30 years, where he spent his career helping students and members of the art community pursue their passions.
Ted was a friend to all and loved to BBQ and volunteer at his church. He was rarely seen without a festive hat, always on the lookout for the best deal. Above all, Ted cherished time spent with his daughter, grandson, son-in-law, and his beloved grand puppies, as well as the many friends who meant so much to him.
Predeceased by his parents; his wife, Trish Jung and his brother, Marc Jung.
Survivors include his loving daughter Gretchen Rusden and husband James; one grandson, Carter Rusden and a sister-in-law, Suzon Bridges.
A memorial service will be held in January and will be live streamed for friends and family.
