Travis Lee Doan

With deep sorrow we lost Travis Doan yesterday at Spotsylvania Regional Hospital. Travis was surrounded by his family when he was given back to the lord. Travis Lee Doan, unexpectedly passed away November 19, 2019 at age 37. Travis is survived by his parents, Beverly Doan and Danny Doan; his brother, Dennis Doan; his sister, Leah Doan; his fiancé, Brittney Trantham; his two sons, Noah age 8, and Gabriel age 1; and his grandparents, Betty Shelton, Edward Shelton, and Ruth Whitted. Travis was preceded in death by his grandfather, Morris Whitted. Travis was born January 28th, 1982 in Asheville NC where he grew up. Travis was a devoted father and avid disc golf player. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he made the best grilled cheese sandwich in the world. He was loved by many people and will be so so dearly missed. Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Friday November 22, 2019 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Travis' Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am.
