Vista Ann Thomas

Vista was the beloved wife of David Thomas, with whom she shared 39 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family.

Vista is survived by her Son, Michael Thomas; Daughter, Gwendolyn Riley; Son-in-law, Andy Riley; her cherished Grandson, Christopher Riley; her brother, Kevin Pierce; Sister-in-Law, Sharon Pierce; and Nephew, Billy Pierce.

Vista was preceded in death by her father, Bill Pierce, and mother, Virginia Pierce.

Vista found joy in the simple wonders of the world around her. She loved animals and was an avid weather enthusiast. She loved the beach, particularly family vacations, where she delighted in combing the sands for seashells and shark teeth. She was known for her exceptional baking and cooking, which brought happiness to those around her. Vista was also a passionate sports fan who loved watching football, baseball, golf, and college basketball.

Her enthusiasm for life’s small pleasures brought warmth to all who knew her. Vista’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May her legacy bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter in memory of Vista Thomas.

A visitation for Vista will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.

Following the services at Mullins & Thomson Funeral Service there will be a Celebration of Life at 3PM to be held at 8013 Ashford Dr. Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
