Freda was born in Virginia on March 31, 1919 to Jerman and Alma (Proffitt) Johnson.
Mrs. Cash was a member of the Westmoreland Independent Baptist Church from 1985 until her passing.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband William Cash and two sons, Forest “Eugene” Wilson and George Clate.
She is survived by four sons, Clifford Royce Clate (Ann), John James Clate, Ernie Clate(Daline) and Michael Lee Clate (Nancy), 14 grandchildren as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 6 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 7 with Pastor Robert Warnick officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Comfort Cemetery 6600 South kings Hwy. Alexandria, VA.
