Walid A Kamel

Wally was born on October 4, 1967, in Cairo, Egypt. He also lived in Greece before immigrating to the United States and growing up in Springfield, Virginia.

Wally was a loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved music, cooking, and cars and could spend hours talking about them.

Wally is predeceased by his parents, Atef Kamel and Mervat Enani, and brother-in-law, Nicholas Anitole. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Kamel; son, Peyton Kamel; sister, Dahlia Kamel; nephew, Nicholas Anitole; mother-in-law and father in law, Irene and James Hagerty; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Deborah Dameron, Elizabeth and David Durrett, James and Barbara Hagerty, Patricia and Shawn Greene, Frank and Elizabeth Hagerty, Thomas and Sara Hagerty, and Loreen and Joe Hughes; and dozens of beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Walid will be held on June 17, 2022 at 6:00pm at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Highway, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401.
