

She was born on March 9, 1942, in Alexandria, VA the daughter of the late Floyd W. and Ardath E. (Stuart) Jencks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Cowboy”, Howard Hampton Hinegardner and son, “Hobie”, Howard Perry Hinegardner.
She is survived by her two sons, Donald Hinegardner and Blain Hinegardner; six grandchildren, Amber Kemeys, Dallas Hinegardner, Shelby Hinegardner, Tyler Hinegardner, Kristen Hinegardner, Leanda Hinegardner; two great grandchildren, Adrianna Kemeys, Athena Smith; one brother, Bud Jencks; two sisters, Donna Griffith and Beth Smith; and many Great Grand-Furbabies. She is also survived by her grandson-in-law Cameron Kemeys, honorary “asshole” James Ronnie Smith, and “her man” Matt Patterson.
Wanda was an amazing soul that cared about others more than herself.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, November 29, 2024 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am Monday, December 2, 2024 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg with Rev. John Hodgen officiating. A final farewell will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
