Warren "Sonny" E. Edwards

He was born on October 27, 1941, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, son of the late Warren H. Edwards and Mary E. Edwards(Barrett, Rollins).

He was a past member of the Fredericksburg Rescue Squad, where he rose through the ranks to the position of Captain. He was a Founding member of White Oak Volunteer Rescue Squad, serving as its first President and in several other leadership roles. He also proudly served on the Stafford County Fire and Rescue Commission.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his loving wife Kathy Edwards; children, Chrissy Ferree(Darrell), Robbie Thomas(Lindsay) and Keith Edwards; siblings, Jerry, Susan, Tom, Debbie and Sam; grandchildren, Ashleigh Ferree, Peyton Ferree(Brianna), Cameryn Thomas, Olivia Thomas, Bobby Thomas, Grant Thomas, Hudson Thomas and Paige Thomas; one great grandchild, Ryder.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the White Oak Volunteer Rescue Squad, located at 535 White Oak Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to New Hope United Methodist Church and White Oak Volunteer Rescue Squad.
