Michael Albert Williams

Michael Albert Williams, a life-long resident of Front Royal and affectionately known as “Bubba” in a certain circle of friends, born on December 17, 1958 died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 10, 2016. Mike is survived by his parents S. Maynard Williams and Annie Mary “Ducky” Williams, his brother, I. M. “Stan” Williams, his sister, Melody Williams Canard, his niece, Abby Rose Canard all of Front Royal, as well as numerous cousins and friends. Mike graduated from Warren County High School in 1977 and went on to be self-employed. Mike was an accomplished and talented wood worker and there wasn’t a small engine around that he couldn’t fix or a lawn he wouldn’t take care of. In addition to being an avid Redskin fan, Mike was also a member of the Moose Lodge #829 and BPOE #2382. Mike looked forward to the week at the Tappahannock every year. Mike was the most kind and tender hearted person you ever knew, always there when you called and would never say no to anyone. He might not have always had a lot to say but you could always depend on getting that tilted head, sideways grin and a chuckle. A celebration of life with the family will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home.
