

On August 5, 1942, Bertha was united in marriage to John A. Clark. To this union was born eleven children.
Bertha spent most of her time caring for her children and grandchildren. She spent time planting flowers and sitting under the shade tree.
Bertha was accepted into Christ at an early age at Old Richland Baptist Church in Fulton, Mo.
Bertha also worked at the old Callaway Hospital as a housekeeper.
Bertha will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, six daughters, Betty Oden of Wichita, Ks., Margie Armstrong (Terry) of Peoria, Il., Robin Clark (Kent) of Dallas, Tx., Lorraine Mahaney of Columbia, Mo., Carolyn Lancaster (Harold), and Norma Clark of Fulton and five sons, John A. Clark, Jr. (Nannie) of Boonville, James Clark (Wilma) of St. Paul, Mn., Joe Clark (Carolyn), Randy Clark, and Gilroy Clark all of Fulton; She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is also survived by six siblings, Altha Mae, Lafayette, Bobbie, Carrie Mae, Cheatum, Nina Foster, and Barbara Sue Robinson, all of Fulton.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret (Jean) Kemp, Clementene Britt, Pauline Logan and Billie Jean Richmond and two brothers, Granville and Orville Galbreath.
Now Bertha Clark sits in the shade of the Tree of Life the Lord.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Second Christian Church in Fulton with Reverend Karma Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of service. Interment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
