Betty Jo Carver

Betty Jo Carver, 78, of Mokane passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at South Hampton Place in Columbia. She was born August 8, 1932 in Portageville, Mo., the daughter of Jack and Violet (Hawkins) Rone.

She married Clyde Carver on August 23, 1964 in Portageville, Mo. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2008.

Betty was employed at Riverview Nursing Home in Mokane and Kingdom Nursing Home in Fulton.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Roy Clifton Jerrolds of Portageville, Mo., Clyde Edward Carver of Willow Springs, Mo., Timothy Scott Carver of Mokane, Mo.; one step-son, Paul Carver of Fulton, Mo.; one daughter, Sheila Pattillo and husband James of Columbia, Mo.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers Jake Rone of Portageville, Mo. and John Rone of Pacific, Mo; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service.
