Betty Jane Horn

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Nolan Wynn at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Carrington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Granny was born on July 16, 1936 in Fulton to the late Amos and Frances Sadler Baysinger. She was married on April 26, 1951 in Fulton to James “Buster” Horn and he preceded her in death in 2001.

She had previously worked at the Shoe Factory in Fulton and she was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Holts Summit, Missouri.

Granny enjoyed traveling, gardening, baking and taking care of her animals, especially her dog, turkey and chickens. She will be remembered as being an exceptional care giver to her family members when she was needed and for the hours that she would spend sewing, quilting and crocheting.

She is survived by son, Donnie (Debbie) Horn of Fulton; five grandchildren, Dustin (Dara) Horn of Fulton, David (Keri) Horn of Clark, Missouri, DeeDee Miller of California, Missouri, Becky Horn of Fulton and Lori Jaegers of Holts Summit, Missouri; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Virginia (Claude) Pitts of Millersburg; one brother, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Granny was also preceded in death by two sons, Mikie and William Horn; one granddaughter, Renee Horn; one brother and three sisters.
