Charles Leo Kirk

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Charles was born August 13, 1924 in Callaway County to Homer and Mary Kemp Kirk and they preceded him in death. He married Martha Smith in 1974 and she preceded him in death.

He worked for Westminster College and then later at Missouri School for the Deaf until his retirement. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulton.

Charles will be remembered as a great pool player and bowler who also enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Carol (David) Gilman of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Chris (Kathy) Gilman, Shawn (Elizabeth) Gilman and Aaron (Jennifer) Gilman all of Auxvasse; great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Alana, Ezekiel, Hannah and Grace Gilman all of Auxvasse.

He was also preceded in death by a sister and brothers.
