

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 at the funeral home.
Elmo was born November 21, 1930 in Guthrie, Missouri to Perry and Grace Landers Foster. He was married to Shirley Lepley on April 16, 1954 in Columbia, Missouri.
Elmo was a member of the United States Army and served in Japan during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Fulton and VFW Post 2657. He worked for over 30 years at Harbison-Walker Refractories until his retirement in 1993.
He enjoyed deer hunting with his family, going to the Lake of Ozarks and playing cards at the Senior Center in Fulton.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; sons, Michael Foster and fiance’Christy Bristol and Terry Foster all of Fulton; daughter, Nancy Foster of Fulton; grandsons, Charles, Derek, Chance and Jay Foster along with great-grandchildren, Avery, Sylvia, Ladd, Bishop, Gus and Abby Foster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alfred Foster and sisters, Waunita Salmons and Dorothy Lechner.
