Clarence Dale Oneal

Dale was born on February 1, 1939 in Callaway County, MO the son of William “Jack” and Velma Mable (Estes) O'Neal who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was united in marriage to Mary Catherine Wilson on March 12, 1976 in Fulton, MO. Dale owned and operated O’Neal’s Garage in Auxvasse, MO for many years and then worked for the University of Missouri-South Farm for several years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, grilling and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife of 47 years, Cathie of the home; two daughters, Sandra Matteson and Tammy (O’Neal) Son both of Fulton, MO; one son, Jeffery O'Neal (Janet) of Hams Prairie, MO; one brother, Clifford O'Neal of Fulton, MO; one sister, Velma Carrier of Kansas City, MO; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Robert O'Neal and Daniel O’Neal; two grandchildren, Mary Son and Raylee Son; one brother, Keith O'Neal and three sisters, Frances Greer, Betty Gaumer and Barbara O’Neal.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Church of God Holiness on Route O near Reform, MO. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Dennis West officiating.
