

Danny was born on October 16, 1946 in Fulton, Missouri, the son of Jewell and Jo Bellamy Nevins, and Geneva Blackburn Simpson.
Danny was a hard worker who became a journeyman carpenter in Las Vegas, Nevada. He worked as a foreman for Faber Brothers Construction building Drury Hotels across the West. He enjoyed remodeling, fishing, hunting, gardening and playing pool.
Danny was married to Rickey Carrow Duncan for twenty years and they had six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Danny will be greatly missed. He was always willing to help a friend in need, and was well liked by everyone who knew him.
Survivors include: one son, Danny Nevins II; two daughters, Cynthia Nevins and Rebecca Nevins; six grandchildren, Brandon Byrd, Joseph Byrd, Jeffrey Byrd, William Marks, Jessica Nevins and Joshua Byrd, eleven great grandchildren; four sisters, Barbara Mertens, Bonnie Bowers, Betty Bardwell, Dorothy Simpson and Mary Ross and six brothers, Mike Nevins, Johnny Cheney, Rick Nevins, Charles Simpson, Roy Simpson, and Jimmy Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Donna Nevins Atterberry, Patricia Simpson, and Linda Simpson.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at noon at City of Fulton Legends Rec Plex, Banquet Center in Fulton, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Callaway County Humane Society, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court St, Fulton, MO 65251.
