

Funeral services, officiated by Pastor John Fussner and Rev. Michael Hearst, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13 at the funeral home.
Helen was born September 2, 1924 in Mokane, the daughter of the late Oscar “Pop” Maddox and Ella “Mom” Derleth Maddox. She married Samuel Cass “S.C.” Dolman on March 29, 1941 in Jefferson City, Missouri and he preceded her in death in 1995.
Helen attended school at Cotton Rock in Mokane and she was a homemaker who was well known for her peanut cluster candy that she gave as gifts at Christmas time.
She was a member of Mokane Christian Church and she enjoyed mushroom hunting, cooking, traveling and attending school activities and ballgames, but her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Helen is survived by three sons, Ron (Linda) Dolman of Holts Summit, Missouri, Sam Dolman of Fulton and Kevin (Karen) Dolman of Mokane; two daughters, Connie Douglas of Fulton and Cynthia (Walter) Strother of Fulton; two daughters-in-law, Joan Dolman of Yukon, Oklahoma and Mary Lou Dolman of Fulton; twenty grandchildren; thirty five great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Della Adams of Fulton and one brother, Ben Maddox of Fulton.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Martin and Dianne Horstman; two sons, Jerry Dolman and Garry Dolman; one son-in-law, Tom Douglas; one granddaughter, Dawna Martin; six brothers, Roy, Joy, Leo, Guy, Pete and Oliver; two sisters, Margie and Eva.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mokane Christian Church in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
