Janet Lea Craghead

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Entombment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the funeral home.

Jan was born October 28, 1936 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Jacob and Mattie Moad Bickel and they preceded her in death. She was married to Brooks “Pete” Craghead on August 19, 1956 in Fulton and he survives.

She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Fulton and the Fulton Garden Club.

Jan briefly worked for the State of Missouri and later was a Real Estate Broker for many years in Fulton.

She will be remembered for her love of travel, especially the European vacations that she was able to take.

Jan is also survived by her son Blake Craghead and his partner, Rick Ingenthron of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers, Marvin Bickel and Gene Bickel both of Jefferson City and Donald Bickel of Lexington, South Carolina; one sister, Betty Mosley of Columbia, Missouri.

She was also preceded in death by siblings, John, Arnold and Mary.
