

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Harvest Time Ministries Church in Holts Summit. Burial with military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. on July 22, 2016 at Jacksonville Veteran’s Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri. The family will receive guests from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21 at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit and there will be a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m.
Joe was born June 1, 1944 in Monroe, Michigan to Joseph Arthur Trombley, Sr. and Mary Alice Tobias and they preceded him in death. He was married to Bonnie Devlin-Sunday on December 16, 1980 in Fresno, California.
Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals. He was a member of VFW Post 280 in Columbia, Missouri and Harvest Time Ministries Church in Holts Summit. He worked as a truck driver until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; sons, Larry Trombley of Ohio and Bryan Trombley of Holts Summit; daughters, Joann Mowry and Tammy Gaines both of Ohio; step daughters, Bridget Armstrong, Jodi Rowe and Jenean Sunday all of Pennsylvania; brother, Michael Trombley of Michigan; sister, Joyce Frye of Michigan; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by son, Tony Trombley; step-son, Duane Sunday; brother, James Trombley and sister, Judy Martin.
