

Joyce Johnson, 83, of Fulton, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Jefferson City, MO. Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1-2pm at Debo Funeral Home 833 Court Street Fulton with funeral service at 2pm.
Joyce was born May 29, 1942, in Columbia, MO to Clarence and Mildred Watson Roberts. She attended Hickman High School and following school, she worked as a housekeeper in Columbia. Later she worked as a presser for Sudden Service Dry Cleaning where she met Robert Johnson. They were married on August 14, 1988, and spent the next 27 years until his death in 2015. Together, she and Bob enjoyed camping and traveling to Blue Grass Festivals. She also loved to spend time with her grandkids, playing dominos and games with her friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Donnie Acton of Columbia, Teresa Johnson of Des Moines, IA, Rick Acton of Columbia, Robert (Lisa) Berry of Niceville, FL, Rhonda Berry of Des Moines, IA, Michelle (Johnny Simonin) Johnson of Fulton, and Daniel (Marla) Johnson of Ashland; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; a brother, Phil (Linda) Roberts of Joplin; many nieces and nephews, a loving extended family, and her beloved cat, Sassy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Johnson, her daughter, Kim Munford, a grandson, Michael Steffen, and her parents.
