Lois was born on May 16, 1936 in Fulton, MO the daughter of Alfred and Ella (Salmons) Musgrove who preceded her in death. On June 29, 1956 in Warrenton, MO she was united in marriage to Ova Darrell Barton, who preceded her in death in 2013. She was a veteran of the US Air Force. Lois retired from Stride Rite in 1995, after retiring, she worked for Production Products. She enjoyed puzzle books, watching hummingbirds, reading, cheering on the St Louis Cardinals, and going to lunch with the “girls” that she graduated with. Lois also cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include: one daughter, Melinda Macker (Kevin) of Fulton, MO; three sons, Darrell W Barton (Candy) of Eldon, MO, Ova Dale “PeeWee” Barton of Fulton, MO and Darrell L Barton (Kelee) of Hallsville, MO; one sister, Peggy Fischer of Fulton, MO; 9 grandchildren, Christina, Samuel, Alex, Steven, Tyler, Joshua, Cameron, Oliver and Madison; 8 great-grandchildren, Taytan, Ira, Byron, Dyln, Zachary, Teagan, Matthew and Zachary and two great-great grandsons, Isaac and Nathan. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Norma Faye Barton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 10, 2021 with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mexico Veterans Home, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court St, Fulton, MO 65251.
