
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 16 followed by her funeral service at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Tillie was born in Fulton on July 21, 1927 to Anna Millard Fourt and Powell Eugene Fourt. She was a Fulton High graduate in the Class of ’44. After graduation, she attended Missouri University-Columbia. She married Joseph Emerson Marshall in 1946 after a six-week courtship. They enjoyed 68 years of devoted marriage.
Tillie spent nearly 33 years with the Callaway Bank. She began this career as a bookkeeper and retired as Asst. Vice-President of student loans. She was also an active Charter Member of Southside Baptist Church. Her greatest joy was helping others to better their lives.
Tillie was witty, hard-working, thoughtful and kind. She blessed the lives of friends, community and her family. Surviving family include her husband, Emerson and daughters, Vicki (Wayne) Ward of Columbia and Suzanne Staggs (Montie Fennel) of Fulton. She is also survived by a grandson and two great-grandchildren as well as two step-grandsons and eight step-great-grandchildren.
