

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 in Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
Nancy was born January 16, 1944 in Fulton to Henry and Irene Young Durst and they preceded her in death. She was married to Lynn Forsee on July 11, 1966 in Burlington, Colorado and he survives.
Nancy was a 1962 graduate of Fulton High School and graduated from NE Missouri State University in 1966 with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. While in college, Nancy was a cheerleader and was very active in campus activities. She became a member and served as President of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and was named to Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges.
She was a member of Missouri State Teachers Association and began her teaching career at Bush Elementary School teaching the 5th and 6th grades and retired from Fulton Middle School in 1996. After her retirement, she became a member of Missouri Retired Teachers Association and Delta Kappa Gamma.
Nancy attended Southside Baptist Church in Fulton and enjoyed reading, playing scrabble and traveling.
Survivors also include her daughter, Kathy (Kent) Moore and their children, Camden and Peyton all of Fulton; brothers, David (Cindy) Durst of Huntsville, Alabama and Bob Durst and son, Robert of Oakton, Virginia and sister-in-law, Sammie Durst of Fulton.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Henry Durst.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Mid-Missouri Chapter, 2400 Bluff Creek Drive, Columbia, Missouri 65201 or Fulton Middle School Science Department, 2 Hornet Drive, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
