Opal Pearl Kyger

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the funeral home.

Opal was born March 18, 1910 in Boydsville, Missouri to Hugh and Emma Sampson Hendricks. She was married on October 7, 1927 to Bartley Kyger and he preceded her in death.

Opal attended Boydsville School and spent her whole life farming in the Boydsville area. She was a member of Millers Creek Methodist Church and she loved to grow flowers and share them with her family and friends.

Opal is survived by son, Jack (Joyce) Kyger of Columbia; eight grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

She was the youngest of five sisters and three brothers who all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bob and Tommy Kyger.
