Born and raised in rural Fulton, Missouri to parents, Ruben and Dollie (Peery) Cameron on September 9, 1932. A graduate of Fulton High School in 1951, Bob joined the United States Air Force and served in Korea and Japan.
After his military service and Honorable Discharge in 1956, Bob would continue his service as a private contractor for 34 years in Texas and Oklahoma until his retirement in 1989, when he moved back to Missouri.
Bob loved his church family and those he met. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and attending Bluegrass Festivals with his son, David. Bob served as an Elder, Deacon, and committee head with Central Christian Church in Fulton.
Bob was preceded in death by parents; his wife, Helen Jo; his brother, Albert Cameron; his sister, Ruby Sutherland; and seven brothers and sisters in the Means Family.
Survivors include four children, Sandra (Tommy) Spitzer, Glenda Cameron, Sarah Caddell, and David Cameron; three grandchildren, Michael (Elizabeth) Spitzer, Courtney Spitzer, and Robert “Bobby” (Jessica) Caddell; seven great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Central Christian Church or White Cloud Presbyterian Church.
