

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the funeral home.
Robert was born July 22, 1929 in Woodlandville, Missouri to James and Ila Daly Epperson and they preceded him in death. He was married to Joyce Throckmorton on December 28, 1956 in Columbia, Missouri and she survives.
Robert graduated from Hickman High School in Columbia and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri.
He served in the United States Army in the 2nd Armored Division during the Korean Conflict and worked for the E.L. Stephens Printing Company in Columbia and later retired from the Ovid Bell Press in Fulton.
Robert was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Fulton and a Past President of the Fulton Rotary Club. He enjoyed being a Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity Advisor at Westminster College, coaching Little League Baseball and watching his granddaughters play softball.
He is also survived by his son, David (Connie) Epperson; daughter, Linda (Tim) Baysinger both of Fulton; sisters, Doris (Ron) Shannon and Betty Conner both of Columbia and grandchildren, Jennifer (B.J.) West of Trimble, Missouri, Amy (Brandon) Hargrove of O’Fallon, Missouri, Kellyn Baysinger of Merriam, Kansas, Brittney (Lawrence) Rukse of Fallbrook, California, Taylor Epperson and fiancé, Fred Manor of Warrensburg, Missouri and Kaitlyn Epperson of Fulton.
He was also preceded in death by son, Stephen Lee Epperson; brother, Jim Epperson and sister, Annabell Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 1st Presbyterian Church, Robert L. Epperson Phi Kappa Psi Endowed Scholarship Fund at Westminster College or Central Missouri Honor Flight.
