Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Crowson at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Bob was born on March 20, 1926 in Trenton, Missouri to the late James and Lizzy Cooper Hague. He had been married to Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Campbell and she preceded him in death.
Bob served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Sea Bees 121st Battalion. After the war, he worked for the Rural Electric Association in Trenton before moving to Fulton to open the A&W Root Beer Drive-in, which he ran with his wife, Libby from 1956 until 1973. He and Libby also owned and operated Bob’s Grocery in Jamesport, Missouri from 1965-66. Bob also worked part time at Gasper’s Restaurant in Kingdom City and full time as a Cook III for the Fulton State Hospital until his retirement.
He was a member of V.F.W. Post 2657 in Fulton and he will be remembered as a hard working man who was able to make friends with everyone he met.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie Hague of Fulton; granddaughter, Melissa Ann (Dan) Bails and two great-grandchildren, Sailor Nicole Bails and Riley Paige Bails all of Omaha, Nebraska.
Bob was also preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Sue Hague and seven brothers and five sisters.
