Barbara S Jones

Wednesday, July 17, 2013 Mrs. Barbara Sue Jones, 75, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Rodger Collins officiating. Collier-Butler Funeral and cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Jones was a devoted full time mother and grandmother. She was a longtime attendee of Walnut Park Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Samuel L. Jones; mother, Arbana Badgett Kent; step-father, Kyle Kent; and father, Buford Monroe Mashburn.

She is survived by her daughters: Judy (Mark) Frederick, Jill (Gary) Pruett, and Janice (Jeff) Wagnon; grandchildren: Samuel (Jenny) Frederick, Brad (Misty) Pruett, Barbie (Jacob) Dye, Megan (Cameron) Stanley, Wesley Hayes, and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Wagnon; great-grandchildren: Susannah and Samantha Frederick, Hannah Pruett, Aiden, Gracie, and Kaylie Dye, and Kagen, Jackson Wagnon; sister, Jeanette (Fred) Jones; brother, Marston Mashburn; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Homes, in honor of Wesley Hayes, 106 N. 6th Street, Gadsden, AL 35903

The family will accept friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
