Ms. Williams was one of the best teachers at Springville! I always looked forward to going to her class. She was always smiling, laughing and in a great mood. We learned many life lessons and had fun in the process. It is surprising to hear of her passing. Prayers for her family. She will most definitely be greatly missed!

I have beautiful memories of visiting my cousin Barbara Sue when we would go visit my Uncle Hershel and Aunt Louise in Hokes Bluff. She always was full of laughter and cheer and so sweet! May she rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.  (You were one very special lady and you probably never knew just how much you touched my life.  Not only did you teach me about cooking and sewing, you taught me so much about LIFE.  You made me feel special in ways I never thought I was or could be.  Thank you.  You were truly one of the BEST teachers EVER.)

Wonderful lady who taught me a skill (sewing) in high school at Springville I still use today. I always loved seeing that beautiful smile each day when I entered her class that I'm sure will be missed by her family and friends. God has truly welcomed a rose into his garden of beautiful flowers. Prayers for the family for the hard road ahead without her presence.

Barbara was such a dear friend. She and I spent many years singing in the choir together, worshiping whole-heartedly, sharing stories and events, studying together with Single Minded, cheering for Alabama, and serving together in ministry.  We were accountability partners who shared the good stuff and the ugly stuff about our walks. We became sisters.  I have missed her since I got married and changed churches.  As much as I rejoice for her, I grieve the opportunities lost over the past year to stay connected.  Brad and James, know that she loved you truly - she spoke about you all the time.  She rejoiced with your marriage, James.  We talked often, Brad. about your work in California.  You two were the apples of her eye, and she was so proud of you both.  I will miss her greatly.

I spent many,many wonderful childhood days playing at my house or hers,it didnt matter,building elaborate pine straw houses in the woods or just riding our bikes. An abundance of sweet memories of my good neighbor and friend.

As a member of Hokes Bluff's graduating class of 1965, I remember Barbara's smile and laughter. Always enjoyed chance meetings with her.  Use to see her and her mom at Hardee's and enjoyed talking with both of them.

Heaven has another beautiful angel!! Taken way too soon!!  She gave me and many others great memories of high school home ec. She was beautiful inside and out! Praying for her family.

Thank you Ms. Williams for not only teaching us how to cook sew and many other home duties...but also about life growing up and becoming responsible adults.!!...Your were our teacher and great friend. Springville Alumni will miss you terribly!!!...Rest in Peace and I pray you know you were loved by many!!!

I gave Miss Williams a very hard time  in home ec every year. But she was one of the best teachers at Springville. Brad I'm praying for you and your family.

Ms. William's was my favorite teacher in high school. I learned so much from her while enjoying a good laugh. She will be very much missed. My thought's and prayer to her family during this difficult time.

Ms.Williams was by far my favorite teacher at Springville High School. She had a laugh I'll always remember and had a heart full of gold. Such a wonderful woman and educator. Prayers for the family during this time. Rest in Paradise Ms. Williams. You'll be very missed. Til we see each other again.

I've still got my recipe book she had us make with all the classmates different recipes. Heaven truly gained a great angel!

Miss Barbara, you touched my life and many others. You and your smile will be missed.  The joy you had and shared about your Savior made everyone around you want what you had, a relationship stronger than any earthly one.  A true praying woman, that knew who held your tomorrow's.  Thank you for praying for me and my family.

Our deepest sympathy for the Williams family. The world is missing an amazing woman.  She taught her students so many things educational and lessons for life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was the best Home Ec teacher ever. I loved having her as a teacher, and as a friend. She will be missed. I am so sorry for your los.

So many wonderful memories of Ms. Williams. She was my teacher, mentor and later in life a friend. She had the best smile and her laughter was music to your ears.  She touched so many lives and will be missed by so many. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy of love and laughter.

Ms Williams was one of my favorite teachers, she taught me so much about how to be a housewife and be proud of what ever God has called us to do!! Some of my favorite memories of Springville High School includes Ms Williams!! She was a true southern  Christian lady, beautiful, kind, smart and filled with the Joy of the Lord!! She will be missed!!

Barbara was such an inspiration to her students.  I am grateful that our daughters had the privilege of having for a teacher at Springville High School.

Barbara has been a friend for a very long time.  I talked to her as long as she was able to answer her phone. She was so proud of her sons and the daughters she had planned on being a mother to.  We do not understand why God took her before she got to enjoy them, but God knows.  She was so happy with her church and the friends she had meet in her church.  The last time she was at my house she was so beautiful and so full of life.  I have never seen her so happy, and that is the way I want to remember her.  Brad and James you were her life and do not have any regrets because you were the sons that she and any mother would have been proud to call sons.  She loved you and always had you in her heart.  I wanted so much to go see her but she wanted me to wait.  I love you Brad and James and would love to share in that mother love.  Please come to see me anytime.

Miss. Barbara was so sweet and has a great sense of humor. She always had encouraging words and a smile on her face. I know she is with God she truly is an angel. What a wonderful teacher. Prayers for her family.

Miss Barbara you will be missed dearly!!! I loved sitting with you at church and in the Choir and running into you at Wal-Mart. You always made me smile and for that I will miss you so much! Fly high til we meet again!!!
