Billie Sizemore Baker

Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Billie Sizemore Baker, 91, who passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Rev. Matt Alexander will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Baker retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with 47 years of service. Mrs. Baker was a member of First Baptist Church, Gadsden. She loved to garden and was an accomplished artist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Abbie Sizemore; and her husband, Wallace Baker.

She is survived by her loving friend and employee Carolyn Stanley.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Stanley, Jeff Stanley, Ryan Stanley, Chad Blevins, Pat Bradford, and Darden Bourne.

Honorary pallbearers will be her loving caregivers, and her loving little Anna Stanley.

A special thanks to her aide Diane and Amedisys Hospice and her nurse Kayla, for her loving care.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Baker requested no flowers. Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church Gadsden, Eagle Rock Ranch, or Big Oak Ranch.
