During his last days he chose to trust Jesus as his Saviour. The grief we have at his passing is eclipsed by the joy of knowing he is in heaven, and that we will see him again.
He was a retired steelworker who enjoyed spending his time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father Charles William Holcombe, mother Ola Mae Higgins Holcombe and sister Jackie Watson. He is survived by his sister, Shirley McDonough; his children, Lisa Hester, Keith Holcombe (Mitzi), Kim Parton (Marcus); his grandchildren, Garrett Hester (Destany), Daylon Hester (Carly), Graham Hester, Ally Holcombe, Daniel Holcombe, Abigail Holcombe, Evan Parton, Adam Parton; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later time.
