Charles Orval Hubbard

Charles Orval Hubbard, age 96, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Charles was born May 2, 1925. The family had a private family service with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Collier Butler Funeral Home directed services.

Mr. Hubbard was a lifelong resident of Etowah County and had attended Gaston School. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the US Navy. He was the owner and operator of Hubbard Parts Company.

Mr. Hubbard was preceded in death by his wife Oneda Rains Hubbard; parents Archie and Minnie Hubbard; sister Ova Lee Henry; and brothers A. J. and Burr Hubbard.

He is survived by his son Dennis (Becky) Hubbard; granddaughter Kacey (Tony) Vaughn; four step great grandchildren; sister in law Ola Hubbard; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Floyd E. Tut Fan Veterans' Home, 2701 Meridian Street North, Huntsville, AL 35811.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the entire staff of Floyd E. Tut Fan Veteran's Home. The care and love they gave Mr. Hubbard, as well as his family, was exceptional.
