Graveside Services for Charles H. Johnston Sr., age 74, of Gadsden, will be on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Bro. Billy Boatwright will be officiating the service. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will be directing.
Charles was a retired truck driver who enjoyed working on old cars and being a handyman. He loved spending time with the love of his life, Sharon, and playing guitar.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon Johnston; children, Nola Drew, Chuck (Cindy) Johnston, and Brent Johnston; grandchildren, Meagan and Dylan Johnston; and his 4 surviving siblings, Jackie, Beverly, Martha, and Carol.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Croft, Gary Sleyton, Jimmy Ray Cash, Ray Gresham, and Many others in the community.
