Char attended Etowah High School, class of 1969, before she began her life-long career as Mom. Our mother was a kind, self-less, beautiful, Christian woman. She always put the needs of those she loved before her own. Although she was a mother to 7 children, she helped raise and guide countless more. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Char joins her parents, grandparents, her late husband, Roger Edwards and her grandson, Kalab Whitworth in Heaven.
She is survived by her children, DeLacy Whitworth, Zachary Whitworth, Yukia (T.J.) Forrester, Kenric (April) Whitworth, Kaja (Zachary) Nail, Skylar (DeMarlo) Blount, Tanner (Surya) Edwards; step-children, Tammy (Chris) Swindall, Dude (Tiffany) Edwards; grandchildren, Ashley (Daniel) Norton, Austin McCall, Dama Najarro, Keylee Whitworth, Olivia Whitworth, Christian Whitworth, Kayla (Brandon) Ellis, Bradley (Jada) Mason, Raiden Whitworth, Ila Forrester, Allexus Whitworth, Kaitlyn Whitworth, Bronx Edwards-Nail, Lenox Edwards-Blount, Jordyn Blount, Jaycee Blount, Lohla Edwards, Mila Edwards, Whitney (Craig) Wood, Ann-Margaret Swindall, Noah (Nicole) Freeman, and Jovie Edwards.
