Dennis LeVaughn Loyd

Dennis LeVaughn Loyd, 53 , of Gadsden, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Collier-Butler Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow at Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, US Highway 411 N, Ashville. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.

Dennis was a graduate of Gaston High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert LeVaughn Loyd; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Madgie Loyd; maternal grandparents, Louie and Nallie Hayes; sister, Donna G. Loyd; and niece, Jessica Loyd.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Deborah Wise Loyd; mother, Brenda Hayes Loyd; stepdaughter, Meagan (Matthew) Gregory; stepson, Jordan Jones; and granddaughter, Summer Rae Gregory.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Jones, Matthew Gregory, Russell Wise, Chris Hamilton, Jeff Whitlock, Chuck Barton, Cody O’Bryant and Chris Loftis

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
