Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Dorothy Gramling Mackey, 91, Gadsden, who passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011. Rev. Taylor Gallman and Rev. Billy York will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Mackey was a lifelong member of Bellevue Methodist Church.
Mrs. Mackey was preceded in death by her husbands, J.D. Gramling, father of her children, and W. N. Mackey; parents, George and Mary Guice; grandson, Tommy Gramling, Jr.; great granddaughter, Ciara Burdick; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy (Jean) Gramling, Tom (DeAnna) Gramling; daughters, Linda (Mick) Barkley and Debbie (LT Sampson) Gramling; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
