Edward "Eddie" Arthur Brewer

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 2:00PM at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Rev. L. Dale Butler will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Eddie grew up in the Walnut Park Community and had numerous friends there. He enjoyed hunting, but his passion was fishing, which he did the day before he passed. He was a great cook and proudly showed his suppers on Facebook on occasion.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Mae and A.E. “Ed” Brewer; brother, Randy Collins; grandparents, Benny and Lillian Allen and Lottie Collins.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Austin Brewer and Lauren Brewer; grandchildren, whom he adored, Beau David Brewer and Archie Ray Brewer; his Love, Beverly Floyd; brother, Keith (Mike Brickley) Collins; sister-in-law, Karen Collins; aunts, Mary Ellen Brewer Asherbranner, Faye Brewer, Shirley Davis and Phyllis Barton; nephew, Brandon Collins; nieces, Katlyn Chambers and Randa “Snook” Thompson; and a host of cousins and friends he held dear to his heart.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cain, Paul Reed, Keith Ball, Bryan Dillard, Mike Little, Charles Campbell, Larry Taylor, and Phillips Satterfield.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Keith Ball; Beverly Floyd, for the happiness she brought into Eddie’s life and to the medical personnel who responded to assist Eddie that morning.

Family will receive friends Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00PM.
