
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Edward Wilson Chambers, 78, who passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013. Burial will be at Duck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cullman County. Rev. Carl Wisener will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Chambers was born September 30, 1934. He graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1954 and was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter C. and Vertie Chambers; and brother, Ernest Chambers.
He is survived by his son, Kyle (Renee) Chambers, Gadsden; daughters, Dana (Fred) Farrar, LaGrange, GA, Lisa (John) Roussell, Gadsden; grandchildren: Georgie Roussell, Lauren Roussell, Olivis Chambers, Jake Farrar, and Ben Farrar; brother, James Willard Chambers; sisters: Mavis Cox, Georgia, Lois Duncan, Gadsden, and Barbara Norton, Gadsden; best friend and cousin, Jerry (Booie) Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: John Roussell, Fred Farrar, Jerry Chambers, Willard Chambers, Ben Farrar, Jake Farrar, Todd Clough, and Harold Mabrey.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
