Please accept our deepest sympathies. I met Uncle Ed a number of years ago during one of our reunions. I wish I had got to know him better sooner. I'm sure he had many stories of my dad Jim and him running around when they were younger. He had left an impression on me, that I had think of him often.

Daddy, fixing to spend my first Thanksgiving without you being here.  I didn't have anybody to make that chocolate pie for.  Not like you enjoyed them.  I just pray God gives me the strength to get through it!  It was a month ago yesterday, and it's so hard to believe!  I miss you as much today as I did a month ago!  You were a hero in my eyes, one of a kind.  This will be the first time in 15 yrs. you can walk up to that large spread on that table and fix your own plate.  You're no longer needing that wheel chair you hated so much.  That's one thing I can't wait to see, is you walking again, and in no more pain!  I'll love you forever and think of you every day.  Happy Thanksgiving!!

I miss you, Daddy!  It's been 5 days since you've been gone.  I sure am going to miss all of our times together, the laughter we had and the sadness we shared.  You were everything to me and I love you so much!  I'm never going to be able to let you really go.

When I think of my papa the first thought that comes to mind is how I thought he was the coolest cause he'd let me follow him to the barn and we would bottle feed a cow we had named curly. Papa let me bottle feed him evenafter he was grown.  I'm 37 but my favorite memory of my papa will always be when I was four. That's how I want to remember him. Strong hard working and loving in his own way. Getting to hang out with him and bottle feed the cow was his way of showing me he loved me!!! :-) :-)

I love you, Daddy!  I don't know how I'm going to make it without you in my life.  You meant the world to me.
