Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Elizabeth (Libby) Pauline Stephens, 83, of Whorton’s Bend, who passed away December 26, 2010. Bro. Gary Walker will officiate with burial to follow at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service directing.
She is a charter member of Lakeview Baptist Church in south Gadsden. She loved to sew, quilt, and most importantly taking care of her family.
Elizabeth is preceded by her husband, Timmie Stephens, Sr.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Zack) Mozely, Wanda Stephens, Patricia Stephens, Donna (Joseph) Bates; son, Timmie Stephens, Jr.; brother, Jerry (Agatha) Miller; sister-in-law, Nancy Miller; 9 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; 1 great great- grandchild.
Elizabeth is truly loved and will be greatly missed by her family.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
The family will be accepting flowers or memorials may be made to Riverbend Baptist Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until 11am Tuesday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
