Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Alfred F. Snow Jr. She is survived by daughters Sanda (Paul), Sheri (Delicia) & Sharon (Keith), and by her adored “Grandboys” Alex, Whitt, William, Harrison, Lucas & Ryan; brother Ralph Whitt Jr. (Cecilia) & family; as well as Al’s surviving siblings and their families. Jean treasured her “tribe” of faithful lifelong girlfriends who loved her well.
Jean was a native of Keener, AL and a longtime resident of Gadsden, AL. She worked in healthcare for Dr. Ralph N. Wesley Jr. for over 40 years. As a lifelong member of Bellevue Baptist Church, Jean served in many capacities, including the senior ministry, choir, drama productions and calmed countless brides as she skillfully directed their weddings.
With a servant’s heart, she cared for many and always had a calm reassuring word.
Pallbearers will be Paul Harrelson, Alex Harrelson, Whitt Harrelson, Keith Chambers, William Chambers, Mark Whitt, and Scott Whitt.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bellevue Baptist Church, 150 Noccalula Rd., Gadsden, AL.
The family welcomes friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
