Frank William Prichard Jr.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Collier-Butler chapel for Mr. Frank W. Prichard Jr., 82, of Rainbow City, who passed away Friday, May 23, 2014. Graveside committal services will be held Wednesday, May 28 2014, at 10:15 a.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Rev. Ed Hurley will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Frank enjoyed fishing and spending time with his granddaughter Cari, and great granddaughters Peyton and Rylan, all of whom he loved very much.

Mr. Prichard is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Frank W. Prichard Sr.; and mother, Ruby Prichard, of Memphis Tennessee.

He is survived by his daughter, Holly Ladd; son-in-law, David Ladd; son, Frank W. Prichard III; granddaughter, Cari Crawford; great granddaughters, Peyton and Rylan; sister, Betty (Winfield) Dunn, of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Phil (Connie) Prichard, of Kelso Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers are accepted, or memorial contributions can be made in memoriam of Mr. Prichard to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Alacare Hospice, 6th floor orthopedics staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Dr. Daniel Ryan, and Dr. Bill Stewart.

The family will accept friends from 12 until 2 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
