Gailya Ann Fox Hornsby

Funeral Services will be Monday, October, 28th, 2013, at 2 p.m., at Trinity Church of God in Albertville for Mrs. Gailya Ann Fox Hornsby, 75, of Albertville, who passed away Friday, October 25th, 2013. The Rev. Wendell Hudspeth will officiate. Mrs. Hornsby will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hornsby was a native of Gadsden and an Albertville resident for the past 30 plus years. She was an active member of Trinity Church of God, where she enjoyed taking care of the nursery.

She is preceded in death by her son, David L. Beaird; parents, Harod “Jack” and Thelma Jewell Fox; brother, Kenneth Fox.

Mrs. Hornsby is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Hornsby; daughter, Susan (Rex) Beaird; Sons, Ray (Teresa) Beaird Jr., Larry Beaird; step-son, Jamey (Allison) Hornsby; grandchildren; Jason Beaird, Melissa Lacy, Nikiva Renfroe, Laura Beaird, Jamie Lewis, Emily Carroll, Kenneth Beaird, Keith Beaird, Nathan Gulledge, Dakota Beaird and step grandchildren; Erica Hornsby, Emily Hornsby, Elisha Ivey, Brandon Clement, Meghan Hale, Mackenzie Griffin, William Griffin and Madison Griffin

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

The family will accept flowers or memorials can be made to the Hospice of Marshall County.

The family would like to express a special thanks to NICU staff at Huntsville Hospital and Shepherds Cove.

The family will accept friends Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
