Gary Ray Morgan, 68, beloved husband, loving father and devoted "Pop Pop" went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015. Gary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and was a kind, loving, God-fearing man who loved with all his heart, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Ray Morgan; his mother, Thelma Ruth Miller of Glencoe, Ala.; and his beloved grandson, Justin Watson Jr.He is survived by his wife, Deborah Bonney Morgan of Southside, Ala.; stepfather, Paul Miller of Glencoe, Ala.; children, Jennifer Morgan of Glencoe, Ala., Brandi (Justin) Watson of Fairhope, Ala., and Nicholas (Shandi) Whisenant of Spanish Fort, Ala.; siblings, Allen (Cindy) Miller of Somerville, Ala., and Paula (Lee) Weldon of Odenville, Ala.; father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Sue Turner of Southside, Ala.; sister-in-law, Patsy (George) Iliff of Southside, Ala.; and his beloved grandchildren, Alex Morgan, Ashley Parrish, Melody Watson, Jonathan Stephens, Noah Loper, Zane Whisenant, Gabriel Whisenant, Halle Shiver, Ella Grace Watson and Jesse Watson.The funeral will be at the chapel of Collier-Butler Funeral Home on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Trenton R. Garmon officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. A short graveside service will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Southside, Ala.
