Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Gary Miles Thompson, age 55, of Gadsden, who passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Rev. Zac Clay will officiate. Burial will be at Moore Cemetery, Jacksonville, AL. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Thompson was a graduate of McCallies Prep School in Chattanooga, TN.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Clay.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E.H. Thompson; brother, Doug Thompson; brother-in-law, Steve Clay; Aunts, Glenda Curry and Jean Trantham; nephews, Zac and Chad Clay; and special pets, Mariska and Maybell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
There will be no visitation.
