Gregory "Greg" Allen Bradberry

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Williams-Southside Cemetery for Gregory “Greg” Allen Bradberry, age 59, of Southside who died Friday, September 12, 2014. Rev. Bill Drummons will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Greg was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA. He was employed for 38 years with Norfolk Southern Railway as an engineer and served as local chairman with B.L.E.T. #073 for over 20 years.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Arthur M. “Buddy” Bradberry, sister, Janice Chieffe and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Boyd and Loyce McLendon.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joan McLendon Bradberry, daughter, Lauren Bradberry, mother, Betty Blakenship, sisters, Traci Billingsley (Joe), Angie Bradberry, brother, Rick Bradberry.

Greg will always be rememberd as the one you could call on and was helping others right up to his death.

Pallbearers will be Chris Boyd, Kevin Boyd, Jason Hatley, Joe Billingsley, Buz Clevenger and Harry Brooks.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Norfolk Southern Railway and friends and neighbors of Lakemont Drive, Southside.

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
